​We understand the manufacturing world, and have decades of manufacturing software experience. This is where we found the inspiration for the Reimagine platform – a solution to knowledge capture that acknowledges the realities that exist in a manufacturing environment.
Our Story
Our founders all started their journey as engineers in manufacturing environments. Our platform is made to capture and use complex procedures and technical data that exists at manufacturing facilities like yours. We've been on the design side for manufactured products (industrial pumps), cut plenty of chips on CNC machines, deployed training systems to Fortune 500 manufacturers, and assembled wiring harnesses in bulk.

This breadth of manufacturing experience gives us a deep appreciation for the complexities of manufacturing knowledge and the pros and cons of relying on tribal knowledge and OJT (on-the-job training).
While necessary, overreliance on OJT and tribal knowledge is incredibly disruptive to operations. Your experts can't stand behind each new worker all the time, and they won't be at your company forever.

In a past company, we found ourselves reaching for the highest tech solution to the scaling problem: Virtual Reality. It promised to let people practice in a 3D world, and even get real-time feedback on mistakes (wrong bolt order--try again!).

While exciting and bleeding edge, the Virtual Reality solutions we developed still had a problem, the same problem that OJT has. Most of the information being taught via OJT and isn't captured in any formal way. It's locked up in the heads of your best workers and isn't easy to load into a digital system.
Reimagine is our solution to ensuring manufacturers capture and retain this valuable knowledge. It insulates the company from disruptions that occur when experienced workers retire, resign, or otherwise leave. It empowers workers to adopt a continuous improvement mindset with regards to knowledge capture and training content development, allowing them to make small improvements without disrupting operations to do so.
